Takara has started preorders for Transformers Frenzy & Rumble Earphones for use with the Sound Label music players. In their normal form, the earphones appear to be the normal bud-style type which plug into your ears. When it’s time to transform, the buds shift and pop parts to become Frenzy and Rumble. We don’t expect these to set the world on fire but they should prove to be interesting additions to any Transformers fan’s collection. Pricing is set at JPY3800 or US$35 from NCS. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late July 2007.

Just got to see what soundwave looks like gheeze he is small!!!!

might as well have turned soundwave into a combo mp3,micro casette deck, at least it would compare in size would any transformer masterpiece collection.(collectors ARE trying to get a whole set of matching transformers)

also the headset just does not feel right. I expected at least a chuncky headset that was more robust.(reason why headsets need lesser moving parts theyd o get broken..)

thatis my 2 cent’s worth of what I think of rumble and frenzy. might as well be tapes or flashcards, so at least they can be protected while in soundwave’s chest.

If soundwave is an MP3 player / IPOD as people are saying, wouldn’t it be logical to have frenzy and rumble as SD cards..??

This might be off the trail, but does anyone remember the old McDonald’s transformers? I still have a couple, there was a pack of chicken mcnuggets, a breakfast sandwich, etc….ring any bells for anyone? This was from circa 87/88, so I’m not surprised if no one remembers.

I've loved Transformers since I was a kid although I lost that love as I got older. When I heard about the live action movie it brought it all back. I love the animated shows, the toys and can't wait for the movie. Everything I've seen of the movie so far gets me tremendously excited.
