A quick review of the new classics Megatron.

Now, it’s back to its roots as a gun, except that federal regulations since then has forced this re-release to severely tone down its realism in both color and design.

Honestly, I never really understood the whole Megatron as a gun concept. No, wait, I understood it from a toy-selling perspective, but in the reverse, there’s no way that made any sense. If Megatron transformed and no one was there to use him as a pistol, then he just fell to the ground and was worthless (on a side note, Shockwave falls into the same problem). Of all the changes that have been made to Megatron over the years and through all of his incarnations, keeping him away from being a pistol was not a great idea, but it made sense and could be made to fit G1, Beast Wars, etc. without problems.

I've loved Transformers since I was a kid although I lost that love as I got older. When I heard about the live action movie it brought it all back. I love the animated shows, the toys and can't wait for the movie. Everything I've seen of the movie so far gets me tremendously excited.
