That 'list' I made was to humor you. You almost had me convinced there was something I missed - unlike some, I actually make sure I'm right before I make accusations. Here's where you're getting confused: when a person says they don't like X because it's not like Y, and then another person says they like both X and Y, it doesn't necessarily follow that person 2 CAN'T be a fan of X. This is the line of logic you're following. Somehow, because I liked the movie, I can't be a fan of the original; my defending the movie somehow makes me less of a fan. You've even said as much in some of your posts [if anybody can prove me wrong, please do so]. With respect to the human stories of Spike/Sparkplug and Sam/Mikaila (or however it's spelled), what's the difference between the two? Both sets of human characters in a human world, both end up interacting with the Transformers, what's different? How about this: Spike/Sparkplug were saved by them, and then never seemed to be able to get away. In case I'm wrong, did they ever go back to their jobs at the oil rig? Not to my knowledge. Did they sleep in the Ark? What did they do for food, since they no longer had jobs? How about Chip? Where the hell did he even come from? At least Sam/'girlfriend' actually have an explanation for what happens on their end. However, looking at the trailers (NOT just the teasers and fan made) 'Devastator', what in gods name is that meant to be..?? Rainbow coloured mega transformer, how pretty.. I just hope that if they EVER decide to do Metroplex, Omega Supreme, Fortress Maximus, and Trypticon, they leave the colour scheme damn well alone... Actually hold that thought, Mr. Bay has already ruined this franchise..!! As for Wheeljack, I won't even bother... On the other hand, Arcee a bike.. WTF..?? At least they kinda got the colour scheme right.. Car makers have made so many 'one off' prototype vehicles that look strangely familiar to a Cybertronain convertible and could have quite easily fit Arcee's profile to a tea, yet they botched that too.. Or don't tell me, Mr. Bay decided on yet another bullshit side story involving Megan Fox' character buying a nice purple bike that turns out to be Arcee.. Fuck me..!! How many side stories does Mr. Bay want to incorporate into his movies (if that were to be the case)..?? The amount of time he spent figuring out the perfect love/side story, he could have made the transformers properly without any short cuts.. And what about ravage, OK, so they didn't include Soundwave in the mix (frenzy stole his identity), but like I said in another topic on this forum, there was so much potential utilising ravage (in robotic jaguar form.. mind you) yet they opted for making ravage a god damn dinosaur.. Oh, once again, don't tell me... Starscream goes to an Island 120 miles of the coast of Costa Rica and find Ravage in the jungle somewhere.. And on the 'Grand Vizier' comment you made in another topic on this forum Vengeful NERD, well, I've said it once and I'll say it again - I'm proud of being a 'real' transformers fan...
