The news around town is that Jazz will be played by a Pontiac Solstice.

Call me traitorous scum, but I really don’t have a problem with changing vehicle types. Transformers, to me, were always cars that turned to robots, not robots that were Porsches. Ya’ know?

I've loved Transformers since I was a kid although I lost that love as I got older. When I heard about the live action movie it brought it all back. I love the animated shows, the toys and can't wait for the movie. Everything I've seen of the movie so far gets me tremendously excited.

true.. BUT THEIR COLOR and their form WAS part of the character.It enhanced their character’s abilities..
so bumblebee being a muscle car sort of detract a little from his “non therathening” and inconspicous nature.(although the yellow color seems like almost a direct slap at any decepticon not noticing something bright as a spy.maybe they see color different from us like dogs or cats.)
a beetle or or any small second hand compact is more believeable to be bought in a used car lot for a few grand don’t you think??
good potential for people to laugh at until it transforms.
