Some great Transformers footage was previewed at Showest and from all the articles i’ve read, one thing is common.  IT KICKS ASS.  I haven’t actually seen one negative viewpoint.  If anyone has a negative viewpoint, please write it in the comments or post a link.

The scenes shown are

• Blackout wiping out an entire military base in Qatar.
• Shia Labeouf trying to locate an item for Optimus Prime, some interaction with the parents.
• Government agents showing up at the house
• Some Scorponok fighting action in the desert.

I need to be clear about something. I love the original TRANSFORMERS movie, cheese and all. But I’m not a chapter and verse Transformer guy. What I am though, is a Giant Robot Geek - and this sequence with BLACKOUT… is Giant Robot Geekgasm material.
