Transformers at Showest

Some great Transformers footage was previewed at Showest and from all the articles i’ve read, one thing is common. IT KICKS ASS. I haven’t actually seen one negative viewpoint. If anyone has a negative viewpoint, please write it in the comments or post a link.
The scenes shown are
- Blackout wiping out an entire military base in Qatar.
- Shia Labeouf trying to locate an item for Optimus Prime, some interaction with the parents.
- Government agents showing up at the house
- Some Scorponok fighting action in the desert.

I need to be clear about something. I love the original TRANSFORMERS movie, cheese and all. But I’m not a chapter and verse Transformer guy. What I am though, is a Giant Robot Geek – and this sequence with BLACKOUT… is Giant Robot Geekgasm material.

I've loved Transformers since I was a kid although I lost that love as I got older. When I heard about the live action movie it brought it all back. I love the animated shows, the toys and can't wait for the movie. Everything I've seen of the movie so far gets me tremendously excited.
