I think it’s important for artists to get their fair share, but this is purely greed. If there wasn’t a movie coming out, I doubt this lady would have ever sued. If I write a program at work, I lose any rights to it. How is it not different?
The composer is also suing her performing rights society BMI claiming among other things that it allowed changes to be made to her song catalog without her authorization.

I've loved Transformers since I was a kid although I lost that love as I got older. When I heard about the live action movie it brought it all back. I love the animated shows, the toys and can't wait for the movie. Everything I've seen of the movie so far gets me tremendously excited.
