And with your remarks on soundwave, have you ever watched an episode of G1 transformers?? It’s obvious you haven’t, because soundwave was a big part of the whole good vs evil war.. Where do you think lazerbeak came from, hmmm, from megatrons ass..??

If ravage was in an early draft, as you say, then where do you think ravage came from?? He was a cassatte, much like rumble and lazerbeak, which means that soundwave had to have been in the movie, otherwise the whole ravage concept wouldn’t work without the deck.. Now would it??

You and Orci seriously need to go back in time and watch the whole G1, so you understand what the transformers universe is all about, rather then changing everything around to suite you, so you get your paychecks at the end of the day..

They say that Soundwave will play a large part in future movies. That will be cool!

Well i hope so, lets hope soundwave looks like the G1 tape deck and not something totally different like an iPod or a 6 cd stacker for example..

Having said that, if they are thinking of bringing in soundwave for future movies, hopefully they will not neglect the option of putting in Blaster as well..

ARE ther ANY PLANS FOR “SPEILBERG” to turn optimus into a red cab over?
I mean rumour has it there are sequels which all may be forgiven if the transfomrers slowly “become” what they are in G1 or close to it.
(assuming thye have the rights to Kenworth products.)

Kudos to whoever posted that you tube picture of a CG optimus that is based on the toy. Heck if he could do it form a cab over (before anyone over uses that word this si what it means. the “cab” where the driver is in sits on top of the engine hence it is called a “cab over”)

By the way of the of thinking, the “diaclone” toy optimus is based on
looks like it a truck being opened when you lift the cab up whne transforming the toy.

I am sure they could do that but why take another approach? to entice YOUNGER audiences since their recollection of the eraliest toys are thsoe from later non G1 transformers series??

I mean ya got Peter cullen who was from G1 I mean might as well put some of the other Niceties that came with that series.

and it is possible to make the OUTER layer or armoring look closer to G1 without sacrificing much of the mobility, used sparringly and with gaps for the articulation(a little more boxy)

The way I figure is, spileberg wants to show the autobots as Living creatures hence the design shows the innards of how they work much like muscles. all he neds to do know is put More armor

what I mean was didn’t people related to the movie frequent this forum in the past? I hope they read past articles and reply so we can get frist hand as to why things have been done that way. micheal bay rpomised fans in empire magazine to talk to them and explain why he made the changes… fans have the right to query why and debate and even find (if ever) a compromise.
