Michael Bay posted on his blog that due to Paramount dropping support for blu-ray that he wasn’t doing Transformers 2. Not sure if that’s a terrible thing or not. I loved the movie, but I know there are other directors that could do a great job as well.
Most likely he’ll just get over his tantrum and end up doing it anyway. But whatever.
So by now you’ve heard that Paramount has dropped support for Blu-ray right? Good, so has a notable Hollywood director. Michael Bay — the man behind “Transformers,” “Bad Boys,” “Pear Harbor,” etc. — just threw down with Paramount in his personal blog. In a forum post titled “Paramount pisses me off!”, he states, “I want people to see my movies in the best formats possible. For them to deny people who have Blu-ray sucks! They were progressive by having two formats. No Transformers 2 for me!”

Am i glad to hear that.. But lets not get too carried away here people, because Michael Bay and Paramount will have a fairytale ending, the glass slipper will fit nicely on Michael Bays foot and they’ll just kiss and make up… And with that comes transformers 2,3,4,5,6 etc… with the same unrealistic bullshit that we all had to endure over the 2hrs and 20mins in the first movie, the same debate and arguments… why isn’t bumblebee, bumblebee..?? why isn’t Optimus, Optimus..?? why isn’t megatron, megatron..?? blah, blah, blah, blah………
This is just a form of mind fucking people, that’s all it is.. It’s nothing more then a smokescreen.. I somehow can’t see Michael Bay and paramount parting ways any time soon, there’s too much money at stake here for this to happen..

This comment pretty much sums it up..!
We called it, he retracted last night.
What… Michael Bay is back behind the directors chair for TF 2..??
such rashness over Blue-ray. Mr. bay should take much care on what he says. It may be as effective as a hangman’s noose.
