Actress Julie White speaks briefly with playbill.com about her involvement with the upcoming summer blockbuster, Transformers.

“I got in it and here’s [director] Michael Bay who was so much fun to work with I can’t tell you. I thought he would be like some kind of crazed, you know, megalomaniacal control freak and he is exactly the opposite.”

It’s interesting that she mentions how pleasurable it is working with Michael Bay in contrast to Shia LaBoeufs statements that are directly contrary.  Don’t recall?  Let me remind you.

“I was thinking about quitting this industry. And Michael Bay will tell you that. He’s so hard on his actors, and not in the way that Emilio might be, in that he’ll push you to be something better. Mike is just f**king a hard a**.”
