Another brief interview with Josh Duhamel. They ask three questions about the Transformers but the following quote is the most revealing.

TVGuide.com: Who is your Captain Lennox in the scheme of things?
Duhamel: He’s the captain of the special-ops team when we first encounter Vortex, who incinerates their base. The six of us get out alive and try to get communication back to the U.S. to tell them what’s going on. We then try to figure out how to beat these things.
