This is a good article talking about the impact that large movies can have on smaller local economies.  Of course it has to do with The Transformers but is a good article other than that too. 

It’s been several months since the cast and crew of “Transformers” left Alamogordo in its collective rearview mirror, but local businesses are still feeling the effects of their visit.

I've loved Transformers since I was a kid although I lost that love as I got older. When I heard about the live action movie it brought it all back. I love the animated shows, the toys and can't wait for the movie. Everything I've seen of the movie so far gets me tremendously excited.
