Transformers Live has posted an open letter from Anne Bryant regarding her battle for royalties from her work on Transformers and other projects. It is not currently understood whether any theme music can be used for the live action Transformers movies.
I’ll be honest. I don’t really want the old theme song used. There - I said it. It’s very 80’s and i’m hoping for an orchestral score. I love the old theme song but don’t think it has much place in the new movie

I've loved Transformers since I was a kid although I lost that love as I got older. When I heard about the live action movie it brought it all back. I love the animated shows, the toys and can't wait for the movie. Everything I've seen of the movie so far gets me tremendously excited.

A symphonic version of the theme music woudl be nice without the cheezy lyrics.. but nooo.. they aint gonna do that.
BTW someone wshoudl tell her that HER song is on certain micheal baybay transformers toys on sheves everywhere.
DIABOLICAL….it makes kidies and noobz think that this movie is made by the same people who made the cartoons.
make people fans without appreciating what came before and know how complete it is compared to the live action movie..(eg.why autobots are called “autobots”??)
